Snipers rifles are the more expensive AEG's-hence they shoot further and cost more.  I would strongly recommend on buying an M16 or a less expensive gun then a snipers rifle and get the feeling of an AEG first.  Then you can work your way up to the snipers rifle.  Its your choice im just trying to give airsoft a good name to you.
