Airsoft Gun Basics

Here i will hopefully help you in some what know the types of airsoft guns for all you beginners.

ALWAYS HAVE A CASE

Never leave your house with your gun-without your case, it is against the law and your airsoft league owners do not find that very fond to not own a case.(P.S. unless you want your guns destroyed and melted down use a case)

  Cleaning Gun

Always clean your gun after about 3 full games.  Your gun will work well and last longer.  You will also have good experiances with it and its longer lasting quality.

GBB(Gas Blow Back)

This is what the green gas looks like that powers your GBB.  Green gas is compressed air in which you can also use propain some times.  I for one do not own a GBB because i am trying to get away from the things like paintball where you have to buy CO2 every game you go to.  The green gas is pretty much the same purpose as CO2 but is not connected to the gun as CO2 is.  I recommend on getting an AEG for one they are cheaper and are more user friendly(if you read the manual that is).  This is just me, do not get turned away from the GBB becuase they are really nice and have that real feeling to them as the AEG's do too.

AEG(automatic electric gun)

Ok- so you wanna own a airsoft gun and side by the big boys.  I will tell you this.  If you are going to buy a gun that is tough enough buy an AEG.  Quit wasting your money on those all plastic no weight springs.  The AEG can simply not be compaired to it so i dont want to here anyone anymore want to waste there money on a spring and try to top there fellow vetren airsofters.  Buy an AEG its the way to go.

This is Green gas which also powers GBBs

There are also other types of gas used in GBB guns, like HFC22,HFC134a, and Red Gas.

This is the butt stock of an M16-A2. The battery goes in the stock for mostly all AEG's unless its a telescopic stock or there is no stock at all.
